Arizona Police Charge Phoenix Goddess Temple Was Prostitution Operation

In Arizona last week, Maricopa County officials announced the arrest and indictment of 18 individuals in connection with a house of prostitution operating in two locations under the guise of a religious organization. Male and female "practitioners" were charged with performing sexual acts in exchange for monetary "donations" at the Phoenix Goddess Temple in Phoenix and Sedona.  They claimed to be providing "Neo Tantric" healing therapies.
