Enforcement Efforts Against FLDS Having Effect
The New York Times today carries a long story on what has happened to the empire of the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints now that authorities in Arizona and Utah have begun to take action against the sect, known for advocating polygamy. With its leader, Warren Jeffs, in hiding, a Utah Probate Court stands ready to appoint former FLDS members, including two women who fled from it, as trustees of extensive property held in a trust by FLDS.
