The
U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has sued a private college, the
University of Phoenix, alleging that the school favors enrollment counselors who are members of the Mormon Church over other counselors.
Yesterday's Arizona Republic reports that the EEOC charged that non-Mormon counselors employed by the University were not given the same leads on new students and were discriminated against in other ways as well.
