Suit Over Auto Sticker's Religious Design Settled

In Burbank, Illinois, a dispute over the city's requiring residents to display a vehicle sticker with an arguably religious drawing on it has been settled. The Chicago Tribune today reports that Nichole Schultz will no longer be required to display the sticker that includes a drawing of a soldier kneeling before a gravesite marked by a cross. A filing asks the court to dismiss the suit challenging the sticker, saying that officials have agreed that if Schultz is ticketed for not displaying it, they will not pursue a fine against her.
