Norwich Union reports that Part 2 of Britain's Equality Act of 2006 banning discrimination on the basis of religion or belief came into force on April 30. The new requirements cover furnishing of goods, facilities or services. Britain's Department of Communities and Local Government has issued a Guidance document that explains the new rules and certain exceptions that are available for religious organizations.
