Hindu Priest To Open California Senate Session
Later this month, a Hindu priest will deliver the opening prayer before the California state Senate. India-West reports that the invocation, scheduled for August 27, will be delivered by Rajan Zed, who last month became the first Hindu clergy member to deliver the invocation in the United States Senate.
