Paper Carries Essays On "Islam and State"
Today's Christian Science Monitor carries four interesting essays expressing divergent views on "Islam and State". Author Abdullahi Ahmed An-Na'im writes an essay titled I Need a Secular State. Harvard professor Jocelyne Cesari's essay is Burqas and Ballots. From Damascus, Danish Institute Director Jorgen S. Nielsen writes The Leery Arab Street.
