Northumberland View reports that Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper yesterday announced the creation of the Office of Religious Freedom within the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. According to the ORF
website: "the Office has been created to promote freedom of religion or belief as a Canadian foreign policy priority." Harper also announced the appointment of
Dr. Andrew Bennett as Ambassador to the Office. (See
