President Obama yesterday appointed three individuals to five-year terms on the 55-member
Holocaust Memorial Council. The new members, according to
JTA, are Elisa Spungen Bildner, a New Jerssey business CEO who has held leadership positions in several Jewish organizations; John Farahi, a Nevada casino CEO and founder of a Jewish day school; and Dana Perlman, vice president of the Los Angeles City Planning Commission and co-chair of the Democratic National Committee LGBT Leadership Council.
