As reported by the
Los Angeles Times, the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals yesterday heard oral arguments in
Bishop v. Smith. An

In the case, an Oklahoma federal district court held that the provision in the Oklahoma constitution barring same-sex marriage in the state violates the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment. The same 10th Circuit panel heard arguments last week in a case challenging Utah's same-sex marriage ban. (See
