The
New York Daily News reported Thursday on a lawsuit filed in a New York federal district court against the famous
Peter Luger Steak House in Great Neck, Long Island by a Muslim waiter asserting a variety of grievances, including one of religious harassment. The Bangladeshi-born employee, Altaf Chowdhury, alleged, among other things, that two managers tricked him into eating a pork hot dog, telling him it was chicken. Chowdhury says that after he discovered the true facts, he vomited ten times. The steak house says the claims lack merit.
