The EEOC has
announced that on Tuesday it filed a federal lawsuit against Raleigh, North Carolina-based Triangle Catering, LLC for failing to accommodate a new employee's religious beliefs. The company refused to permit Michael Reddick, Jr., a practicing Rastafarian, to wear a small cap while working as a delivery truck driver. Reddick was eventually fired for insisting on wearing the religious head covering.
