Colorado Supreme Court Denies Review In Case of Baker Who Refused Wedding Cake For Gay Couple
According to yesterday's Denver Post, the Colorado Supreme Court has denied review in the widely watched case of Craig v. Masterpiece Cakeshop, Inc. In the case, the state court of appeals affirmed a decision of the Colorado Civil Rights Commission that a bakery's refusal to create a wedding cake for a same-sex couple violates Colorado's public accommodation law, and that the Commission's cease and desist order does not infringe the bakery owner's free exercise or free speech rights.
