According to the
Broward County Sun Sentinel, a Florida state trial court judge yesterday dismissed a suit by the city of Plantation, Florida seeking to enjoin Mark and Kathy Hyatt from erecting the elaborate Christmas display that they have annually put up at their home. (See
prior posting.) The court ruled that the city had failed to show that the display-- containing 200,000 lights, a movie screen a 30-foot tree and a Ferris wheel for stuffed animals-- constitutes a public nuisance.
