4th Circuit Grants En Banc Review In Legislative Prayer Case
The U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals announced this week that it has granted en banc review in Lund v. Rowan County, North Carolina. In the case, a 3-judge panel of the 4th Circuit held in a 2-1 decision that the practice of the Rowan County Board of Commissioners to open its meetings with an invocation led on a rotating basis by one of the commissioners is constitutional under the Supreme Court's Town of Greece decision.
