Court Dismisses Parents' Complaint of Coerced Baptism of Son

In Defibaugh v. Big Brothers/ Big Sisters of Northeast Ohio Board of Trustees,  (ND OH, Oct. 16, 2017), an Ohio federal district court dismissed a suit by parents of a minor child who contend that the mentor assigned by a juvenile court to their minor son coerced him into being baptized against the wishes of his parents. They also claim that their son's guardian ad litem preached to the family about Christianity.
