Love v. Department of Education, (CA App., Nov. 20, 2018), a California state appellate court rejected state constitutional challenges to a California law that repealed the personal belief exemption to the state's immunization requirements for school children. Saying that "Plaintiffs’ arguments are strong on hyperbole and scant on authority," the court rejected claims that the repeal violates the constitutional right to attend school, substantive due process, or rights of privacy or free exercise of religion.
