Suit Challenges Vermont's Exclusion of Parochial High Schools From College Enrollment Program

Suit was filed this week in a Vermont federal district court challenging on free exercise and equal protection grounds Vermont's exclusion of students attending private religious high schools from the state's Dual Enrollment Program.  The complaint (full text) in A.M. v. French, (D VT, filed 1/20/2019), focuses on the state's program that allows high school students at public and private secular schools, but not religious schools, to take college courses at public expense.
