Last week, the Christian advocacy organization Open Doors released its report World Watch List 2026 which assesses the persecution of Christians around the world. The report covers the period from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025 (methodology). The Report focuses on the 50 countries where persecution of Christians is highest. North Korea leads the list.
