7th Circuit Hears Oral Arguments In Parsonage Allowance Challenge
The U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals yesterday heard oral arguments (audio of full arguments) in Freedom From Religion Foundation v. Lew. In the case, a Wisconsin federal district court held that the tax code provision that excludes a minister's parsonage allowance from gross income violates the Establishment Clause.
