Supreme Court GVRs Notre Dame's Appeal In Contraceptive Mandate Challenge
As previously reported, in October Notre Dame University filed a petition for certiorari with the U.S. Supreme Court in its challenge to the Affordable Care Act contraceptive coverage mandate as applied to religious non-profits. However instead of seeking full review of the 7th Circuit's decision, the petition asked the Court to issue a so-called GVR order. Today the Supreme Court did just that.
