10th Circuit Grants Stay In Contraceptive Mandate Case Pending Supreme Court Action On Cert.

As previously reported, in July a petition for certiorari  was filed with the Supreme Court in Little Sisters of the Poor Home for the Aged v. Burwelll.  In the case, the 10th Circuit upheld  the Obama Administration's Affordable Care Act accommodation for religious non-profits that object to furnishing contraceptive coverage. On Friday, the 10th Circuit issued an order (full text) staying issuance of its mandate until the Supreme Court's either denies review or decides the case.
