The U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals heard oral arguments yesterday (
audio of full arguments) in
Freedom From Religion Foundation, Inc. v. New Kensington-Arnold School District, a challenge to a Ten Commandments monument on the lawn of a Pennsylvania high school. In the case, the federal district court held that plaintiffs lacked standing to challenge the monument because they had not been injured by its presence. (See
