Supreme Court Denies Review In Houston Spousal Benefits Case

The U.S. Supreme Court today denied certiorari in Turner v. Pidgeon (Docket No. 17-424, cert. denied 12/4/2017) (Order List).  In the case, the Texas Supreme court gave two Houston taxpayer-voters another chance to challenge the legality of the city's extending spousal benefits to same-sex married couples.
