Cert. Denied In Challenge To "In God We Trust" On Currency
Yesterday the U.S. Supreme Court denied review in New Doe Child #1 v. United States, (Docket No. 18-1297, certiorari denied 6/10/2019). (Order List). In the case, the U.S. 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in interesting opinions rejected a constitutional challenge to the placement of the motto "In God We Trust" on U.S. coins and currency.
