International Religious Freedom Alliance Founded
Last week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that 26 nations have joined the United States to create the International Religious Freedom Alliance. The nations pledged to uphold a Declaration of Principles committing them to take both proactive and reactive actions to uphold freedom of belief, thought, conscience and religion as protected by international law and United Nations International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
