5th Circuit Hears Arguments on Louisiana Requirement for Classroom Posting of Ten Commandments

Yesterday, the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals heard oral arguments in Roake v. Brumley. (Audio of full oral arguments.) In the case, a Louisiana federal district court held that Louisiana House Bill 71 that requires a copy of the Ten Commandments to be posted in every public-school classroom in the state is facially unconstitutional and unconstitutional in all applications.
