Court Upholds California's Removal of Belief Exemption From Vaccination Requirement
In Whitlow v. State of California, (SD CA, Aug. 26, 2016), a California federal district court refused to grant a preliminary injunction against California's recently enacted SB 277 , a law requiring school students (other than those being home-schooled) to be immunized against ten specific diseases, and removing the state's prior exemption for those whose personal beliefs oppose immunization.
