Cert. Denied In Challenge To Alabama Prisoner Grooming Restrictions

The U.S. Supreme Court yesterday denied review in Knight v. Thompson, (Docket No. 15-999, cert. denied 5/2/2016). (Order List.) In the case, the U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the Alabama prison system's grooming requirement that prohibited Native American inmates from wearing long hair, even for religious reasons.
