The U.S. Supreme Court today granted review in Shurtleff v. City of Boston, (Docket No. 20-1800, certiorari granted 9/30/2021) (Docket List). In the case, the U.S. 1st Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the city of Boston's refusal to allow an organization to raise its "Christian flag" on one of the City Hall Plaza flag poles at an event that would also feature short speeches by local clergy.
